Hello Friends,

The Indians are set to face the Carribeans in West Indies. Starting 18th May, the team on a winning spree, yes our beloved Team India will take on West Indies who are playing Zimbabwe right now. Get ready for some serious action guys !!

Indian TeamCarribeans ! Here we come !! The Indian team gets ready to face the West Indians even if there have been talks of too much cricket by certain players. Bhajji, who just loves to play cricket all the time suggests rest for players in case of a burnout whereas the wicketkeeper, Mr. " long hair " Dhoni thinks that rotation is the best policy . Amidst all this confusion stands our modest captain Mr Dravid who does admit that the forthcoming tour to West Indies is no easy job. The cynosure of all eyes, Sachin Tendulkar is fit and is soon going to be back on track . Its amazing how even at this stage the little master can bag a 40 million dollar contract and his bat can fetch student scholarships. No wonder, best things in life do come in small packages. On the other side of the coin is the West Indies team whose downfall is being attributed to disillusionment. Want to go through the remains of West Indies ? Join in.

:: Subcontinent to host 2011 World Cup
Cricket World Cup India and three other Asian countries on Sunday won the bid to host the 2011 Cricket World Cup after defeating a joint proposal by Australia and New Zealand at the ICC's executive board meeting here. The ICC also announced that Australia and New Zealand would host the 2015 World Cup while England will stage the following edition in 2019. Although the ICC bosses refused to disclose the margin of victory, BCCI vice-president Mr Lalit Modi told a TV channel that the Asian bloc won 10-3. The surprisingly easy victory for the four Asian Test playing countries - India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh - put an end to weeks of suspense on who would host the high-profile event.
